Kahlan Amnell

Cosplay taken from the TV show Legend of the Seeker, based on the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind.

This is the character's travel coat and corset. Coat is linen with leather trim. The corset is green leather with black satin.

Lots of research into the costumes from the show allowed for a nearly perfect replica.

Right down to the use of elastic for the ties and lacing to allow for less restrictive movement.

Same character and show. This is her Confessor Coat. Research again allowed for the use of both princess seams and modified princess seams.

Same corset from before.

Confessor coat is made of white velvet and lined with white silk.

Scottish Lass

Made for attending the MD Renaissance Fair during Celtic weekend.

I built everything from the plaid piece sash, to the suede bodice, plaid overskirt, linen under skirt and shirt, and the muslin petticoat. (petticoat not visible)

More 1600's than 1400's at customer's request.

Pleating in the shirt sleeve is a fun historical detail.

War Wizard

The black and gold costume is my version of Richard Rahl's War Wizard outfit from The Sword of Truth book series by Terry Goodkind. The costume was lifted directly from the pages of the book as per the customer's request. The belt and silver bracers were bought from other vendors.

Prom dress

Customer wanted a Prom dress One that flowed, wasn't constricting and a one of it's kind. From the lace godet covering the slit to the color to the asymmetry, it was safe to say she was a standout at prom.

Even the closure was different, running along the diagonal between the satin and lace across the back instead of just up and down.

Robin Hood and Rapunzel

Customers wanted costumes for a Renaissance Fair. The gentleman asked for a Robin Hood type look. The lady wanted to cosplay Rapunzel from Disney's Tangled.

Elsa

A 4th grade teacher wanted to wow her students with a killer costume that they would love. Elsa from Disney's Frozen was the result.

Merida

Done as a Halloween costume. This is a reproduction of Merida's dress from Disney's Brave. Made both the dress and the shift underneath.

Impromptu toga costume for my sister. Pulled a sheet from the linen closet, a couple of decorative pins and belt from my costume stock. She nearly won the costume contest at the event she was going to. Done in 20min.
